these are beautiful! Fairy tales were my favorites as a kid. I love the way you use words to form images in such a literal manner. gorgeous. thanks for sharing them.
Gorgeous stuff! Especially like the towers of words and the hill of lettered trees with words in the bedrock below. Kudos to you for creating such lovely stuff. I occasionally do mixed media stuff that ends up being watercolor paintings with ink text worked into it, and I totally get the pull of incorporating words into art.
hello. i came across your site when i googled “the truth about unicorns”,a book that has slipped in and out of my life since i first read it in the seventies, during what i call my lost years. i wanted to find the book, i did and i also found this site. i don’t normally do things like this but your art work is compelling and beautifully expresses your relationship with words.seeing your art work is like seeing a familiar face. i am an old friend of words and i recognize that you are not just another writer using words to express what you mean but someone who has gone often to the secret world of words and heard what they had to say.
take care
Thank you, Joyce. I feel a connection to anyone who has read “The Truth about Unicorns.” I never meet people in my non-online life who has read it. It meant so much to me when I was a teen.
I love words and what they can do. I hope I hear them truly. They’ve saved my sanity, my life, a time or two.
I love love love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are the wonderful artist that makes these great works of art/writing. I finally found you. Fabulous stuff.
Thank you, Sara. Nice to see you here.
